Windsor police seek suspected motorcycle thieves caught on camera at towing yard

Windsor, Ontario — January 5, 2014 — Authorities are looking for two suspects caught on camera taking a motorcycle from a Windsor towing yard.

As reported by CTV News, police say videos show two males—who walked away with an unplated model year 2000 blue Yamaha motorcycle—breaking into the yard at Myers Towing, located at 3300 Marentette Avenue, on December 30.

Both suspects are caucasian and between 20 and 25 years old. One is described as having a tall, slim build and was wearing a waist-length fur-hooded bomber jacket with an insignia on the right upper sleeve, low-riding baggy jeans, and a baseball cap. The other is said to have a shorter, stockier build and dark hair. He was dressed in a baggy winter jacket with a distinctive logo on the back.

Windsor police are urging the public to contact the authorities by calling 519-255-6700 ext. 4350, or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS) with any information.
