Jamie Davis brings star power to Agri-Trade expo

Red Deer, Alberta — November 12, 2015 — Highway Thru Hell star Jamie Davis is set to appear at this year’s Agri-Trade Equipment Expo, event organizers have announced. Davis, who was also present at the annual event in 2014, is slated to be on hand to sign autographs on Thursday, November 12. The 32nd edition of the expo runs November 11 to 14, returning to Westerner Park in Red Deer, Alberta. The exhibition caters to the global agricultural industry, showcasing equipment, technology, and services. Last year, through a partnership with Toyota, Davis spoke to attendees about the OEM’s Tundra—a vehicle Davis and colleagues routinely use in adverse weather and rough terrain. The expo runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, the final day. Admission includes GST and parking, and is $14 per person. Children aged 12 and under are free with adult accompaniment. Multi-day passes are available at the gate or the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce office. Highway Thru Hell chronicles the operations of Jamie Davis Motor Truck, a heavy vehicle rescue and recovery towing company based in Hope, B.C. and Lac la Biche, Alberta. The series documents the hardships and triumphs of Jamie Davis, his staff and their competitors as they work along the treacherous highways of the B.C. interior and Northern Alberta. The series airs on the Discovery Channel on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET. To learn more about the show, go to discovery.ca/shows/highway-thru-hell.
