Ayr, Ontario — July 24, 2017 — Canadian Towing Equipment offers a free online towing calculator that calculates how much weight your tow truck is capable of lifting. While the calculator serves for estimating purposes only, it can give tow truck drivers a good idea of what their truck can handle before heading out to get a vehicle off the road.
The calculator includes three input sections—tow truck input data, underlift input data and lift and tow performance results. Each section requires various pieces of information, from the total scale weight of your tow truck to the underlift retracted from the tailboard. It then compiles this information to give an estimate of the weight your truck can lift.
